Standard Appointments

Standard appointments are allocated 15 minutes each.
These can include: antenatal checks, blood pressure checks, pap smears, medication review and renewal of prescriptions.
We do like you to see our Nurses prior to any consultation to have your observations taken.

These include: height, weight and blood pressure, vaccinations/immunisations and allergy status.

This is also an opportunity for you ask any questions or express concerns about you health and prevention of health related issues. 
If you think that your consultation may take longer, please ask for more time and the staff will allocate you further time with your GP.​

 

Long Appointments

Long Appointments are more than 20 minutes less than 30mins.

These consultations would include:​

• When more than two problems need discussing

• Mental health/Counselling (A mental health treatment plan may need to be arranged at another time)

• Insurance/ superannuation or Centrelink medicals requiring paperwork.

• Commercial driving license medicals

• Detailed medical check ups like health assessments and are plans or pre employment medicals

 

Skin Checks

Full body examination using dermatoscopes and lighting to identify suspicious lesions (permitted areas only) chaperone provided by female nurses if required for examinations or private areas. 

 

Urgent Appointments

Urgent appointments are those which you feel cannot wait until the next available routine appointment. But do not require a trip to ED or Ambulance
Examples are infections, injuries, and painful conditions.

We hold a limited number of short appointments with our Doctors each day, these are for urgent needs including recalls, only available on first serve basis. We do also offer a waitlist for cancellations to assist patients seeing a doctor as soon as possible, also on first serve basis.

After Hours Appointments

Patients with major health concerns and after prior discussion with your doctor can contact our after-hours service. The on-call doctor will assist as soon as possible (within 24 hrs.) The phone number 0411 601 804.

 

If it is an emergency, please dial 000 to avoid any delay.

          Should you have an urgent medical matter such as:

• Chest pain

• Difficulty Breathing

• Altered level of consciousness

• Fitting

• Uncontrollable Bleeding

• Spinal injury

• Head injury

• Allergic reaction

• Burns
